Overview

The Royal Trek is probably the shortest of the village treks that traverse with the backdrop of Annapurna massifs, all along their foothills with superb views of the mountainous arena. The skyline trek was named the Royal Trek in the early eighties after the Prince of England, Charles along with 90 of his associated men had walked through this route to meet the Gurkhas who had been serving in the Indian army.

From the lake city, it is a short drive to the Bijaypur Khola, which is the actual point to start trekking in the Annapurna region. Also in the journey, you will be greeted by the splendid views of the attractively built hillside paddy terraces, the glorious Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu Himal, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and the Langtang Mountain views. The whole trekking journey is filled with occasional up and downhill hikes along the ridges and valleys without any worries about the altitude and acclimatization processes.
